In this session, we’ll build the foundations for a great application. What are you great at? Where are your strengths? How can you best market your strengths in a way that resonates in the German job market? We’ll find the all-important red thread in your experiences and put together your profile toolkit which you’ll use to create your CV and cover letter.

In the second session of the series, we’ll learn how to format your CV for the German job market. You’ll learn which templates and resume creation tools actually work for the German job market (and which to avoid), and we’ll go over what to put and what to leave out. You’ll learn how to present your experiences effectively for the German job market.

The third session of the series focuses on the cover letter – or unsolicited application pitch. Yes, you do need a cover letter – especially in Germany. Learn why it is, in fact, an extremely useful tool, and how to write a cover letter that opens doors. We’ll learn a simple method for writing the cover letter that will have you creating outstanding pitches for each new application.

Finding a job to apply for can be challenging, and sometimes it feels a bit frustrating. We’ll learn how to find jobs, how to identify what you’re qualified for, and how and when to approach organizations that you’re interested in that don’t have a job posting.
